Nightmare patrol - the monster in my kid’s bathroom.

2:20am my progeny wakes us up because he had a nightmare. Monsters were in the bathroom to eat him when he got up to go. Now he had to pee.

I told him that the biggest monster in the bathroom is the smell when he goes in for a #2, and any other monster is scared of him because of it. He laughed and said he hadn’t t thought of that and went back to sleep. Unfortunately my monster is an inability to get back to sleep once woken up.

It’s been 2 hours and I can see the sun is coming up. Thinking about going for a drive in the 996 to clear my head and maybe I can get back to sleep when I get back.

It’s going to be a long day...
